I think the first thing Al said to me included the F word.... At first, i was scared (go figure)..... then on a separate interaction with him he called me Chubby.... LOL!!!! I would typically be affended by that but I wasn't.... That man was one of a kind, special to all that knew him and a pleasure to be around. I cannot express the amount of sorrow that I feel for Vickie, Lori, Eric and Scott because of this terrible tragedy. But I do know that lots of people love this family, me included, and will support them through their grievances....

I still can't believe that Al has passed. Both Al and Vicki have opened their home and hearts to all of us over the years. The backyard will never be the same without Al's famous "WTF!". My heart goes out to Vicki, Lori, Scott & Erik! May you take comfort in knowing how much your family means to all of us! Rest in Peace Al, God took one of the good ones!

I have known ( frisky ) i always called him that for 40 yrs. He was like a brother to me. We did many things togeather over the years and i will miss him deeply. Vicky, Lorie, Erik and Scott i am so sad that i can't say the words i want to say, except i loved him very much and i love you all to. God bless you all and be strong, Tim.

Erik, I sincerely feel for the tremendous pain you and your family are going trough at the loss of your loving and caring father. The lord has physically taken him away from you, but know that it is surely because he needs him to keep on protecting all of you from up above.

We are so sorry for losing Big Al. Our loss is heavens gain but we'll all be in the great big back yard in the sky with him soon enough. I heard Al is warming the grill, checking the pool for the kids and can't wait until we all meet up with him. What a reunion party that will be. My family will always remember him for his kindness and thoughtfulness for letting us be an extended part of his family.
