Les Mémoires
Vincent Spinelli/The Spinelli Family

Erik,The Grasso/Kunian Famiily,

I extend my deepest condolences.  Some of my fondest memories were created in and at the Grasso household.  I remember when I first moved to Florence Avenue as a little rolli polli.  There was a lot of fighting and teasing with all the kids in the neighborhood, but through the years those people grew to be my closest friends.  The Grasso clan was like my second family. I was invited to family vacations, outings, barbecues, work deliveries, etc... Al and Lady included me in everything and treated me like a son.  They are the most generous people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. And still, to this very day, I feel lucky to have had that opportunity.  Although, I have grown apart from my childhood/adolescent friends and families, their memories and presence in my heart, and my mind, are very close.

Al Grasso was, and always will be a special person to me.  His existence had such a positive impact on my life as I know it today that I will be forever grateful.  Pride, values, work ethic, humor, family, and friends are some of the qualities he instilled in me (probably unknowingly).  To me, he was an honorable man in every aspect of life and will forever be remembered as such.

With Love,

Vin

Vicky, Erik, Lori, Scott and the whole family

I've known Al since I was 8 and Erik got his atari 400. Since that time there have been far too many positive memories to share, and simply not enough room here to write them all down. Throughout my whole life, i've always looked upon Vicky and Al like an aunt and uncle.

I know how much all of you will miss Al, and I share in your grief. Al will always be a part of all of us and with that in mind I will carry all those great memories with me forever.

with Sympathy,

Tony, Carolyn and Nicky Mambuca

The Starlings
Grasso/Kunian family,
Kelly, Devin, and I are deeply sorry... all of our lives will never be the same. We are lucky we had the privilege to know him. He'll be in our thoughts forever.

That picture John sent out of Al and me at my wedding is a favorite of mine.
Now it means even more. That conversation we were having is one of many memories I will always have. He was definitely unique - he was one of
a kind.

Al you will be missed... you can't even comprehend how much.

Vicky, Erik, Scott, and Lori - you are in our prayers,
Mark, Kelly, and Devin
Kerrie Rosati

Dear Auntie Vicki, Erik, Lori and Scott,

I am so sorry for the loss of "Uncle Frisky".  He was such a loving and caring man with that little added spice that made him soooo funny!  I'll never forget all the wonderful memories at your home and in the yard.  I always had such a wonderful time at your home, which was like a second family to me, and even accepted the tough love Uncle Frisky liked to give. Thank you for allowing me to know him as I did and know that he will forever be in my heart! ~Always, Kerrie

Dear Erik, Scott & Grasso/Kunian family;

I am so, so sorry for the sudden loss of your father and husband.  I know Big Al through our intermittent meetings at work, but know more about him through the many stories shared by Erik and Scott Kunian over many years.   I get a good demonstration of Al’s hard work ethic, strong values about life and commitment to family each and every day when I talk with Erik who got his greatness from his Mom and Dad.  You are in our thoughts & prayers.
